Transparency International Publishes a guide called “Corruption Perceptions Index” every year. They rank countries based on different surveys to find out how good is a country for business and also corruption.
Bahrain Came out on the top at the 46th place with a score of 5 while jordan and oman shared the 53rd place.
With the amount of Red Tape involved in every sector here i am not surprised by the result. To go open a business, you are faced with red tape, to go to get some government document you dont get it until you go through a million hoops.
What do the numbers mean and what is the score… Click Here

With the recent shuffling of ministers and stuff, i hope Condition of Bahrain improves and in next year report we are way down in the list.

Yesterday some websites sarted selling the iphone unlock tool which was developed by Iphonesimfree for as much as 99 a pop. What would have had happened if you just waited a day or two more before shelling out the cash?
You get a free iphone unlock tool, compliments of the Iphone Dev team, which has been on iphone ass since the day it came out hacking firmware, decrypting keys blah blah and finally they released the unlock tool.

So today was the bloggers meeting, as much as i wanted to attend it i couldnt. It would be cool to meet the rest of the bloggers from bahrain but the time is a little bit hard to accomodate.
As a suggestion maybe we can push the meeting for little later, i get a half day on saturday and dont finish work till 3pm, so it would be a cool idea to gather support and see if there are other people who would like to have it little later then usual 10 or 11.
What do other people think? Is it worth a shot to try to see if we can have it some other time??
